(Taylor's Version) is a 6-minute comedy by Pranav Bhasin — two men realise they're grappling with their love lives by pretending to understand Taylor Swift. Shot in Mumbai and produced by White Owl, the film went on to become a Vimeo Staff Pick with over 200,000 views on YouTube.
I worked on the film as Assistant Director and Director's Assistant — credited, officially, as "Assistant Everything." Which is accurate. I was on set through the shoot doing whatever the film needed, including shooting the behind-the-scenes.
This was part of a longer run of working with Pranav between 2021 and 2024 — on his feature screenplays, and on his shorts (Taylor's Version) and Billi. His films have won at SXSW and the Mumbai Film Festival.
