VlogMEETING FARZA

A Video byVikrant PatankarFeaturingFarza MajeedMusicTyler, The Creator

In early 2024, Farza Majeed put out a call for his "Dream Team." Instead of sending a quiet application, Vikrant made a full production out of his pitch, proving his filmmaking chops by doing the thing itself. Farza noticed. They hopped on a Google Meet. He encouraged Vikrant to come to San Francisco and even helped push the visa process along.
The Dream Team project got shelved — but the public pitch had already taken on a life of its own. It caught the eye of Composio CEO Soham Ganatra, and Vikrant became the founding filmmaker at Composio. A freelance product designer from a Mumbai chawl was now making films for a San Francisco startup.
This vlog is the full-circle moment. Vikrant finally meets Farza in person, and they sit down to trace the whole unlikely chain of events — from a forwarded LinkedIn DM, to a viral application video, to a career that didn't exist six months prior. Farza insists he barely did anything. Vikrant disagrees. The truth is somewhere in between: one person's post became the catalyst, but it only worked because someone else chose to take destiny into their own hands.

Personal FilmFIRST SUNRISE OF 2026

A Film by & FeaturingVikrant PatankarMusicJustin Hurwitz & Hans Zimmer

A vlog documenting a spontaneous, last-minute trip from Bengaluru to the Liwa Desert in Abu Dhabi — the real filming location of Dune — to continue a decade-long tradition of filming the first sunrise of each year. What started at age 16, inspired by the Japanese tradition of Hatsuhinode from a Doraemon episode, has evolved into an intentional cinematic ritual. For 2026, the vibe was Dune: Hans Zimmer's score, vast sand dunes, and a sunrise over the desert that doubles as a teaser for a future Dune-focused film called Old Dream.

Travel2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY IN 70MM

A Video by & FeaturingVikrant PatankarMusicJohn Kander, Johann Strauss II, Richard Strauss, & Lin-Manuel Miranda

A New York City vlog built around a cinematic pilgrimage: watching Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey in 70mm at the Museum of the Moving Image. What began as a high school viewing on a smartphone — slow, unrewarding — became a lockdown revelation and eventually a 5-star Letterboxd entry with a vow to see it on film.Ostensibly in town for a friend's wedding, the trip becomes a love letter to the theatrical experience — Broadway nights with Chicago and a soul-shaking Hamilton, rooftop reflections on why NYC feels like home (part South Bombay, part HSR Layout, part Delhi), and the quiet conviction that if cinema is a religion, visiting movie theaters is the pilgrimage we must take.
